Pay: $82/hr


Shifts: Days - 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (4, 10-hour rotating shifts)


Seven Healthcare are seeking a proficient Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthetic Care for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This position is vital in coordinating and implementing patient care for those recovering from anesthesia, ensuring quality and safe care. The work environment includes working within surgical services and the use of EPIC EMR.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PACU

• Obtain and record initial assessments and set priorities based on patient age and needs
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and necessary interventions
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes
• Participate in patient or significant other health education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions
• Evaluate the plan of care and perform Point of Care testing procedures

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PACU

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Experience commensurate with RN responsibilities and patient population
• Clear, concise communication skills suitable for all age groups
