Job Description

A vehicle parts manufacturing company in Hodgenville, Kentucky is hiring for a Quality Assurance Supervisor. This position is responsible for processing and monitoring quality of products and processes.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise daily quality activities and investigate nonconforming products
• Respond to customer quality concerns and coordinate containment activities
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, or similar problem-solving methods
• Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, quality plans, and company procedures
• Maintain quality documentation and product traceability records
• Train employees on quality standards, inspection procedures, and nonconformance processes
• Partner with Production and Maintenance to reduce scrap and improve overall product quality
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process changes

Qualifications and Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of manufacturing quality experience (supervisory experience preferred)
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and surface measurement tools
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks

Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
