The nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals with various medical conditions. The nurse will function within a team, assisting in the assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse might be required to float to other acute care areas as needed. Patient-to-nurse ratios may reach up to 1:6, depending on the shift. Candidates should have experience with electronic medical records, experience with Meditech is preferred but not required. The work environment includes a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient outcomes. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Holidays may be required as needed.
