Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Support CV cases using CVICU devices
• Utilize hemodynamic monitoring, including swans and art lines
• Manage ventilators
• Apply strong critical thinking in patient care
• Perform procedures such as Post CABG, Post VAD, and Post Cath with cardiac support devices
• Document accurately using the Meditech system

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Active TX RN License
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Experience with IABP and CRRT preferred
