Commercial Plumbing Mechanic — Renovation & Retrofit Projects

Picture this: you start your day inside a fast-moving, active Amazon facility. The site is live, the schedule is tight, and your craft is central to keeping operations humming. You review the plans, coordinate with other trades, and set out to rebuild and refine commercial plumbing systems that must perform flawlessly—underground to finish.

What Your Day Looks Like

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specs to plan precise installations and retrofits.
Demolish and replace existing systems as required on renovation and retrofit projects.
Install, repair, and modify piping systems (copper, PVC, cast iron, PEX).
Perform underground and above-ground rough-ins, top-outs, and finish work.
Cut, thread, braze, and solder to specification.
Set fixtures (sinks, toilets, valves, water heaters, and specialty equipment).
Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime in an active facility.
Coordinate closely with other trades to keep the project on schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized work area on a fast-paced job site.
Follow site-specific safety protocols, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards.
Meet local plumbing codes and all applicable safety regulations.

What You Bring

4+ years of recent commercial plumbing experience.
Full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, vest, steel-toed boots).
All standard plumbing tools on hand.
Reliable transportation.
Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.

Job Details

Type: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
Benefits: 401(k), Health insurance
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts; overtime and weekends as needed; year-round work available
Location: In-person (active Amazon facility)
