Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Weeks: 8
• Guaranteed Hours: 48.00

Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor: Required within 60 days of hire or transfer
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or enrolled in upcoming TNCC class: Required
• At least one year ICU or Step-Down/Progressive Care, High Risk Labor and Delivery or ER experience in the last 5 years: Required
• Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent: Required
• Completion of Critical Care Course (or equivalent experience): Preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide appropriate nursing interventions in stable and emergent patient situations.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy, including blood products.
• Care for and maintain indwelling catheters and drains, ensuring safe use of medical equipment in critical care settings.
• Accurately interpret ECG rhythm and manage care during life-threatening emergencies.
• Care for and manage patients post coronary intervention and post permanent pacemaker placement.
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must have current Epic experience.
• Auto Offer, EPIC Backfill.
