Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for CVICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; use critical thinking and independent judgment to guide decisions.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, administer medications and therapies as ordered, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across multiple levels; coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines.
- Communicate with patients and families, document care accurately, and participate in rounds and care conferences.
- Ensure infection control practices, patient safety, and adherence to unit policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing in Oregon
- CVICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain flexibility in scheduling
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer skills
