Job Overview and Qualifications

In your role as a Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with providing exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and the standards of practice for your specialty and state. Working alongside medical professionals and the care team, you will deliver tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, reflecting the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure a remarkable patient experience and favorable clinical results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, swiftly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical records.
• Administer prescribed medications, observe the patient for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions if any adverse reactions occur.
• Deliver outstanding care by promptly addressing patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and resolving any issues that arise.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring they fully understand by simplifying complex medical language.

Qualifications Required:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• No travel is required for this position.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
