Equipment Engineer III

Our client is seeking an experienced field service and technical support professional to serve as a subject matter expert for chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation. This individual will provide advanced troubleshooting support, lead technical escalations, mentor engineers, support service process improvements, and ensure high-quality service delivery for laboratory customers. Key Responsibilities Serve as the technical lead for chromatography and mass spectrometry service activities Support and resolve complex field service escalations Perform installation, maintenance, repair, qualification, and troubleshooting of analytical laboratory instrumentation Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers and field engineersDevelop and maintain service procedures, qualification protocols, and technical documentation Support service pricing, labor estimates, and inventory planning Train and mentor engineering team members on instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting Ensure compliance with GxP and other applicable regulatory requirements Maintain strong customer relationships and provide recommendations to optimize instrument performance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field 7+ years of experience supporting analytical laboratory instrumentation 3+ years of experience working in a regulated (GxP) environment.
