Mid-Level to Senior Insurance M&A & Reinsurance Associate/Counsel

Overview Substantive insurance M&A transactional experience, including reinsurance transactions, is required. High academic achievement and solid law firm experience are preferred. Lateral associates participate in an enhanced mentor program focusing on unique needs experienced attorneys face during professional transitions. A hybrid work model requires working Monday through Thursday in the office, with opportunities to work remotely for specified periods. The firm offers an extensive pro bono program, allowing attorneys to devote time and receive credit for causes matching their interests. Posting Details The Financial Institutions Group in the New York office is seeking two attorneys in the mid-to senior-level Associate/Counsel range (i.e., class of 2023-Counsel). Successful candidates will have substantive insurance M&A transactional experience, including experience with reinsurance transactions. High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience preferred. The starting base salary for this position is expected to be between $260,000 to $455,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
