Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-senior level Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its national M&A practice in New York. The associate will advise public and private companies, strategic investors, and private equity sponsors on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Duties Draft and negotiate transaction documents Manage diligence processes Execute mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions Integrate legal technologies and workflow tools Lead workstreams and serve as a key client contact Collaborate across offices and practices Requirements 3+ years of M&A experience Experience with public and private company M&A preferred Knowledge of federal securities laws and/or Delaware corporate law preferred Experience with technology and life sciences companies is a plus Outstanding academic credentials Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills Education J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
