Work Environment

Located in Cape Coral, our rehabilitation facility provides a warm and welcoming environment focused on both patient comfort and clinical excellence. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed for collaboration, allowing clinicians to work closely together to provide comprehensive patient care. Your role will require a full-time commitment, with a work schedule running Monday to Friday, typically spanning a 40-hour week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients as per physician referrals, using standardized assessments to define their rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitating patients through a variety of therapies.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies, ensuring best outcomes through collaboration.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, using data-driven decisions to support recovery goals.
• Educate and train patients, caregivers, and families, providing them with tools and knowledge for ongoing mobility and health improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards within the clinic and maintain detailed documentation of treatment provided.
• Actively contribute to a culture of customer service excellence by providing compassionate care that caters to each patient's unique needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Motion Care, we cater to a diverse population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Our clinicians utilize evidence-based treatments tailored for various challenges, from post-surgery rehabilitation to sports injuries and chronic pain management. This role requires you to navigate different age groups and physical conditions, making adaptability and a patient-centered approach critical to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid physical therapy state license from Florida is essential.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey information to patients and collaborate with teammates.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other documentation tools to maintain accurate patient records.
• A proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients, empowering them to exceed their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a clinical setting offering physical rehabilitation is beneficial but not mandatory. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a desire to engage in continuous professional development will enhance your contributions at Motion Care. A history of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
