Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to OB/GYN patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to medical standards. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status through thorough data collection and analysis.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to OB/GYN patients.
• Administer treatments, medications, and procedures following established protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care delivery and optimize outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate effectiveness of interventions, adjusting plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum two years of recent nursing experience in OB/GYN or related specialty preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor.
• Additional certifications such as NRP, STABLE, and INTFETAL are required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
