Job Description

The Fab Operations Technician is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, inspection, and maintenance of critical facility and utility systems that support high-tech manufacturing operations. This role ensures the safe and reliable performance of cleanroom environments, including HVAC, electrical, and process utility systems. The technician responds to alarms, performs routine inspections, and supports preventive and corrective maintenance activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining uptime, safety, and efficiency in a 24/7 production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and inspect cleanroom systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, process utilities, and building infrastructure
• Monitor facility equipment and alarms through BAS, EMS, and other control systems
• Perform routine facility rounds and document system status and performance
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance following SOPs and schedules
• Respond to equipment alarms, system interruptions, and emergency situations

Qualifications and Requirements

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial environments
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and utility systems
• Ability to read technical documents, manuals, P&IDs, and schematics
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and CMMS/BAS systems

The base pay range for this position is $20–$23 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
