APRN – Wound Care Specialist (D.C. Region) Ready to advance your clinical career and dominate a rewarding specialty? NexGen is redefining post-acute wound care, and we’re looking for a passionate APRN to join our D.C. team. Built by operators and clinicians who know long-term care inside and out, NexGen prioritizes clinician sustainability, deep collaboration, and excellent patient outcomes. We are seeking an experienced clinician who is ready to hit the ground running. Why Join NexGen? Compensation: $140,000 – $175,000 (inclusive of bonuses) Investment in You: Company-paid wound care certification Time Off: Generous 4 weeks PTO + 10 paid holidays to ensure you recharge The Role: Provide expert, bedside wound care and collaborate with skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) across the D.C. area Full-time W-2 position with comprehensive benefits and mileage reimbursement What We’re Looking For: Experience: Minimum 1 year of direct wound care experience in nursing homes required Licensure: Active APRN / Nurse Practitioner license in Washington, D.C. (or compact equivalent) Clinical Mastery: Strong clinical judgment, exceptional interpersonal skills, and effective communication Autonomy: Comfortable working independently across multiple SNFs and collaborating directly with facility care teams Mobility: Willingness to travel within the region to maintain a full-time caseload (approximately 8 facilities) NexGen Wound Care is an equal opportunity employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Nurses at Home
