Qualifications

• State License License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA)
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical in last 3 years.
• EMR EPIC
• Skills Assessment MES skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 Charge RN references within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee of the Health System in the past year.
• Additional Confirmations Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and placing IVs is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with administration of blood and blood products, anticoagulation therapy, care and management of ports, and central line care (PICC lines) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with antiseizure medication and diuretics is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with assistive devices, diabetic teaching, fall risk assessment and prevention, Foley catheter removal, and incentive spirometry is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, lift/transfer devices, and mobilization techniques is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with pain assessment and management, patient teaching, post craniotomy care, and pressure ulcer assessment and prevention is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with pulse oximetry, stroke scale assessment, supplemental oxygen delivery, suture/staple removal, swallowing precautions, thickened liquids, and wound care is required.
• COVID Vaccine Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
• Requested Time Off Up to 10 days of time off can be requested.
