Job Full Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join our team. The Payroll Clerk's duties include, but are not limited to:

Process payroll timely & accurately
Maintain the time collection system, track absenteeism, employee points, punches & call-ins
Process & track vacation days, floating holidays, disability & other absence requests
Process new hires
Distribute benefit packages as employees qualify
Update & issue company policies
Maintain personnel files, safety & training records
Fill temporary staff positions as requested
Prepare weekly/monthly payroll reports for accounting
Must be self-directed & motivated; ability to work with little/no supervision.
Maintain the integrity of the payroll department by keeping all personnel information confidential

Pay: From $17/hr, BOE

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED
Associate Degree in Business is preferred
Experience with payroll software and payroll processing thru ADP
Prior experience in an office environment, preferably in manufacturing or industry
Proficient in MS Office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
