Quality Control Inspector

Description The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and measuring components and finished products to ensure full compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, supporting continuous improvement, and upholding company standards. Key Responsibilities Inspect, test, and measure components and completed products to verify conformance with engineering drawings and customer specifications. Use precision measurement tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers to evaluate product dimensions and quality. Approve or reject finished items based on inspection results. Ensure all products meet company and customer quality standards. Quarantine and document any materials or products that fail to meet specifications. Communicate inspection findings with production, engineering, and other relevant teams. Record and maintain accurate inspection and test data, including detailed documentation of results. Perform incoming parts inspections to verify supplier quality. Manage quality‑related communications with vendors, including issues related to nonconforming materials. Maintain statistics and reports on rejected materials, failures, quality concerns, and vendor returns. Oversee and maintain the calibration program for all in‑house test equipment and tools. Ensure proper ESD controls are followed within manufacturing areas. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of quality standards and inspection practices required. ASQ certification preferred. Minimum Qualifications Requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience.
