Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Respiratory Therapist to fill a night shift position for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings, possess the necessary certifications, and be comfortable operating specialized respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in critical and emergency situations.
• Administer medications and therapies via various delivery methods.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, such as Hamilton G5, PB 980, and Respironics V60.
• Assist in intubation, extubation, and management of tracheostomy patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is required.
• Valid certifications: RRT, BLS, and ACLS.
• Ability to work with specialized equipment such as Cough Assist, Optiflow, and Lumis.
