We are seeking a skilled and experienced Slitter Operator to join our Clients Team. As a Slitter Operator, you will be responsible for operating slitting equipment and producing high-quality materials according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be comfortable with using a variety of tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain slitting machines to produce materials according to customer specifications
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Read and interpret work orders and production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
- Record production data and maintain accurate records
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal output
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and ensure safety protocols are followed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of [insert number] years of experience operating slitting equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using a variety of tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and production schedules
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and correct defects in materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
- Pay rate: 1st Shift $24-25/hr depending on experience
- 30-minute lunch and 2 15-minute breaks
- 1st Shift 5:30am to 3:30pm (Overtime often required on Saturdays.)
- Moderate paced work
