We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our expanding vascular surgery practice serving San Antonio and surrounding communities. The Practice Manager will oversee the business and clinical operations of multiple clinic locations, partnering closely with physicians and staff to drive efficiency, compliance, growth, and outstanding patient outcomes. Position Summary

The Practice Manager is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of multi-site vascular clinics, ensuring operational excellence, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient satisfaction. This role provides leadership for staffing, clinical operations, workflow optimization, facility oversight, supply management, and business growth initiatives while fostering a collaborative culture focused on delivering outstanding vascular care.

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership

• Direct and oversee daily operations across multiple clinic locations.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve workflows that enhance efficiency, productivity, and patient experience.
• Partner with physicians and clinical leaders to support strategic growth initiatives and practice development.
• Ensure consistent execution of policies, procedures, and operational standards across all sites.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing staff.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and patient-focused culture.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and professional development.
• Address employee relations concerns and performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.

Patient Experience & Quality

• Champion an exceptional patient experience through service excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and implement action plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and professional communication with patients and referring providers.

Clinical Operations & Compliance

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and operational processes that promote continuity of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, reporting, and record management practices.

Resource & Supply Management

• Develop and maintain standardized inventory and supply management systems across all clinic locations.
• Monitor utilization, reduce waste, and optimize operational costs.
• Oversee accountability and tracking of medical and electronic equipment.

Facility & Multi-Site Management

• Coordinate staffing support and coverage between clinic locations as needed.
• Develop transportation and travel guidelines for employees supporting satellite clinics.
• Ensure facilities are maintained in a safe, professional, and patient-friendly condition.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare management or medical practice leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical practice operations, healthcare regulations, and patient service excellence.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), practice management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field.
• Experience managing multiple clinic locations.
• Experience in vascular surgery, surgical specialties, or specialty physician practices.

Compensation

Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications, including relevant healthcare management experience, scope of leadership responsibilities, specialty practice experience, education, certifications, demonstrated operational achievements, and overall alignment with the needs of the organization.

Candidates with advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MHA, MSN), multi-site practice management experience, vascular, cardiovascular, or surgical specialty experience, and a proven track record of improving operational performance and patient satisfaction may be considered at a higher salary.
