We're looking for a Technical Support Specialist I to join our Support team and serve as a front-line resource for our clients. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys troubleshooting technology, helping people, and continuously learning new skills.

What You'll Do

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, peripheral devices, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve support requests while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical information within the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or appropriate support teams as needed.
• Assist with workstation setup, deployment, maintenance, and hardware replacement activities.
• Support Microsoft Windows environments, desktop applications, printers, and common business technologies.
• Follow established support processes, service standards, and documentation procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of client issues and requests.
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities and occasional after-hours support when required.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of Help Desk, Technical Support, Customer Service, or related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the IT field.
• CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or other entry-level certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $18.25 - $20.65

Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, certifications, and other job-related factors.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

  Work Location

  To support onboarding, training, team collaboration, and professional development, this position is fully onsite and must be based in the Jacksonville, Florida area. Candidates must have the ability to work onsite daily and provide reliable transportation for business-related travel as needed.
