Title: Database Reliability Engineer
Duration: C2H (Hybrid)
Locations: Livermore, CA
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support databases including Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Maintain highly reliable database environments through monitoring, alerting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Automate routine database operations such as provisioning, patching, upgrades, backups, and compliance processes.
- Contribute to database architecture, design, and migration projects, including cloud, containerized, and cross-platform database environments.
- Build and maintain development, testing, and QA database environments to support application teams.
- Perform SQL/query tuning, data model reviews, performance optimization, and database security improvements.
- Develop monitoring dashboards, alerts, logs, and operational runbooks, while supporting incident resolution and post-incident analysis.
- Assist with enterprise COTS applications, including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, triage, and customization.
