Mechanical Assembler IChatsworth, CA 91311OverviewSalary Range $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Category ManufacturingDescriptionSummary: Assembly of mechanical housings, systems and hardware for both stand-alone products and products containing printed circuit board assemblies. Primary work is conducted while standing utilizing hand tools (powered and manual), machinery or applicable materials.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and productsUtilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gunMaintain inventory of product in work stationsPerform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standardsIdentify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identifiedRework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changesAdhere to all requirements and Board Handling.Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on the components' moisture sensitive levels (MSL).Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings and work instruction processes.Identify hardware, wire assemblies, sheet metal and plastic components.Work with miniature to large components that may require visual magnification.Integrate electronic assemblies and cables into mechanical housings.Use various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches and screwdrivers).Support and follow all ISO standards related to NEO Tech's various Quality Management Systems.
