Registered Respiratory Therapist

Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Assess patients for appropriate types and frequencies of treatment. Develop a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluate respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment based on patient outcomes. Educate patients and families about health conditions. Provide information about community support groups and other available programs. Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes. Travelers will be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts and holidays as needed to meet department needs.
