Roborock already makes the best-reviewed products in the category. What we have not yet built in North America is the sell-through engine that converts shelf placement into velocity — the promotions, in-store experience, demonstration programs, and retailer marketing that make a premium, considered-purchase product actually move off the shelf. Today our channel organization is built to win distribution (sell-in). This role builds the other half: the bridge between the sales teams who win the shelf and the shoppers who need to see the product work before they spend $800-$1,400 on it. You will stand up the trade and channel marketing function from the ground up and own how Roborock shows up at the point of purchase across every North American retail partner. What you'll own Design and scale an in-store demonstration program for a product that wins when shoppers see it work — the single highest-leverage conversion lever in the category. Build retail associate training and enablement so floor staff can confidently recommend and demo our products. Own in-store merchandising: end-caps, displays, planogram position, and all point-of-purchase visual assets. Field & channel execution Build and manage field-merchandising coverage (internal and/or third-party) to ensure execution compliance across strategic doors. Lead channel-specific programs — Costco roadshows, seasonal events, and category launches. Plan and manage retailer media (Best Buy, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, and others) as an accountable, measured investment — not an afterthought. Own the marketing components of joint business plans with national accounts. Measurement & insight: Partner with Revenue Operations on POS / sell-through data (Circana, NIQ) to measure promotional lift, demo conversion, and program ROI. Establish a test-and-learn discipline: scale what converts, cut what doesn't, and bring velocity evidence into retailer line reviews to win incremental shelf. What success looks like (first 12 months): A functioning in-store demo and associate-training program live in the core doors of our strategic accounts. Trade-fund governance and a single promotional calendar established, with clear ROI measurement replacing ad-hoc spend. Measurable sell-through lift (units per door per week) in accounts where the program is deployed. Retailer media managed as a P&L line with reported return, not an unmeasured cost. A repeatable playbook and a small, high-performing team that scales behind proven doors. What you bring Required 8+ years in trade, channel, or shopper marketing within consumer electronics, appliances, or durable goods. Direct experience with major US retailers — Best Buy, Costco, Target, Walmart, or Home Depot/Lowe's. Proven ownership of co-op / MDF or trade-fund budgets, including allocation and ROI accountability. Track record building or scaling in-store, demo, or field-merchandising programs. Data fluency: comfortable working from POS / sell-through data and holding programs to measurable outcomes. A builder's mindset — energized by white space and comfortable creating structure where none exists yet. Preferred Premium or considered-purchase product experience; smart-home or connected-device categories. Experience launching a new product category or supporting a market-entry / scale-up.
