About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of ICU nursing experience License: State or Compact license required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS Must-Have: - Charting experience with Epic - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Experience caring for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in the Intensive Care Unit. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications. Charting experience using Epic is preferred. The nurse should have skills in managing arterial lines, central lines, and ventilated patients. Key responsibilities include the interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), suctioning, and isolation precautions. Candidates must comply with all onboarding requirements and complete necessary modules upon hiring.
