Water and Sewer Laborer Limestone, ME – Opportunity to Hire Schedule: Full-Time/Days; Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.00/hr. Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Water and Sewer Laborer for a full-time opportunity in Limestone. This position will assist with the maintenance, repair, and general operation of municipal water and sewer systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work and is interested in building a long-term career in the water and wastewater field. Construction or general labor experience is a plus, but candidates who are dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable performing physical work are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Assist with water and sewer system maintenance, repairs, and installations. Support excavation, construction, and general labor projects as needed. Assist with locating, maintaining, and repairing water and sewer lines. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as trained and directed. Assist with routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment and work areas. Follow established safety procedures while working around equipment, roadways, and excavation sites. Perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Assist other crew members with daily projects and maintenance needs. Complete other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored visa support. Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic. Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying conditions. Ability to safely use tools and equipment. Construction, excavation, utility, or similar labor experience is a plus. Willingness to learn water and sewer operations and pursue additional training and credentials. Following successful completion of the introductory period and hire by the client, employees will be eligible for the client’s benefit package. The employer will also provide support and licensing assistance for employees interested in obtaining additional water and wastewater credentials and advancing within the field.
