Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role is ideal for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) looking to work on-site with students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a resource and self-contained setting. Starting with orientation on August 3 and 4, you'll be all set to greet students on their first day, August 7, with the contract running through May 20, 2027. You’ll enjoy a steady, part-time schedule—just 15 hours per week over two days—leaving room for work-life balance while focusing deeply on your caseload.

What we’re seeking:

• Active and valid PT license for Illinois (required)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for working with K–12 students in diverse classroom settings
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct PT services and consultations for students in resource and self-contained settings
• Utilize provided equipment and assessment materials for effective evaluations and treatment
• Coordinate with teaching staff, families, and administrative teams
• Participate in monthly team meetings, roundtable discussions, and process improvement initiatives
• Take advantage of a robust orientation, including the “Buddy Program” for new hires
• Connect with same discipline supervisors for ongoing support and mentorship
• Regularly engage in professional development courses and performance review processes
