Marketing/Business Development ManagerSales Enablement | Minneapolis, MN | Hybrid — 3 days/week in officeOverviewThe Marketing/Business Development Manager is an individual-contributor role responsible for bringing creative vision and design thinking to proposals, RFP responses, and pitch presentations for the region's business pursuits. This role partners closely with brokers and business line leaders to turn market and client intelligence into visually compelling, client-ready materials, with a focus on creative differentiation and storytelling at the point of sale rather than lead generation.ResponsibilitiesBrings creative concepts and fresh visual ideas to customized proposals, RFP responses, and client/prospect presentations for new business pursuits and renewalsDesigns and produces pitch decks and presentation materials in InDesign that support creative differentiation and storytelling at the point of salePartners with brokers and business line leads to gather content, shape win themes, and identify unique selling propositions for each pursuitManages multiple concurrent proposals and pitches from kickoff through final delivery, coordinating timelines with brokers and internal stakeholdersConducts research on prospects, markets, and competitors to inform proposal content and positioningEnsures all materials are accurate, on-brand, and creatively distinct prior to client deliveryCoordinates with design, production, and research resources as needed to complete deliverablesServes as a creative and proposal resource across tenant rep, industrial, agency, and retail business linesBuilds and evolves proposal templates, layouts, and the team's content library with a fresh design perspectiveSupports post-pursuit debriefs by documenting feedback and identifying creative and process improvementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of related experience; commercial real estate or adjacent industry experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong creative and conceptual thinking, with the ability to bring fresh visual ideas to proposals and presentationsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneouslyAdvanced InDesign skills required; proficient in the broader Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working directly with brokers and senior stakeholdersDeep understanding of and commitment to client serviceOutstanding organizational skills and attention to detailStrategic and design thinking with a business development mindsetComfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate research, drafting, and proposal productionTechnologically savvy with the ability to learn and adopt new toolsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
