Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule from 18:45 to 07:15, with weekend requirements every other week.

The Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a 24-bed MedSurg/Tele overflow unit, ensuring remarkable patient experiences through collaboration with the healthcare team. This role includes monitoring telemetry patients and accurately treating dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities:

Monitor patients' telemetry readings and respond to dysrhythmias as needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care.
Administer medications and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assist CNAs and maintain optimal patient ratios for effective care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Current BCLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
Telehealth experience and the ability to manage dysrhythmias are essential.
Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state is required.
