The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for the operating systems and their successful integration with the hardware and applications software across the enterprise. Your responsibilities will include the following: • Plans, tests, installs, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems, third-party software components, and subsystems• Proactively monitors and manages system resources to optimize operating efficiency and performance• Performs troubleshooting and diagnosing and correction of problemsActive TS/SCI with FSPMaintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.Basic Qualifications• Networks and Computer Systems Administration experience related to Systems Engineer/IT• Experience with Windows Server administration• Security+, CASP, or CISSP certification required within first six months• Experience with SCCM (Systems Center Configuration Management) and SCOM (Systems Center Operations Manager)Active TS/SCI with FSPDesired Skills• VMware • Good analytical and troubleshooting capabilities• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills (written and oral)• Hardware• Helpdesk#SpaceCYBProgramsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
