Business Development Manager

Job Title

King Filtration Technologies, Inc. has specialized in providing high quality filtration and separation products to industrial customers for over 50 years. King Filtration's products are utilized in the manufacturing of fluids and gases, as well as on plant support equipment, including compressors, lubrication systems, metalworking, and industrial air systems.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Working within all established safety guidelines
• Providing world-class customer service
• Establishing rapport and developing solid relationships with key customer contacts and vendors
• Prospecting for new contacts in current and new businesses
• Meeting and exceeding sales and margin targets
• Collaborating with pricing manager to develop strategic pricing strategies
• Prospecting for and acquiring new business at all volume levels
• Maintaining and growing sales to existing customer base
• Organizing and prioritizing responsibilities to ensure effective and efficient territory coverage
• Meeting monthly with ISRs to review budget and goals for upcoming month
• Evaluating filter applications for value optimization and solution presentation
• Completing the required weekly sales call activity
• Regularly utilizing CRM software
• Developing solid technical skills
• Generating timely and accurate quotes
• Utilizing the training catalog and the media library for presentations
• Supporting company initiatives in the areas of marketing, sales, and training
• Managing and ensuring compliance regarding implementation of new accounts and contracts
• Maintaining monthly expense and mileage reports
• Utilizing auto generated reports to understand, manage and develop business
• Understanding and utilizing King business systems
• Working with assigned Inside Account Manager
