Job Title: Cabinet Vision Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Vision Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate cabinet designs, engineering production-ready drawings, generating CNC machining files, and supporting the manufacturing process using Cabinet Vision software. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects move efficiently from design to production while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer custom cabinetry using Cabinet Vision software.
• Create production-ready drawings, cut lists, and bills of materials.
• Generate CNC machining programs using Cabinet Vision and S2M Center.
• Review customer drawings and specifications for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Production, and Engineering to resolve design issues.
• Maintain Cabinet Vision standards, libraries, and construction methods.
• Optimize cabinet designs for efficient manufacturing and material utilization.
• Troubleshoot design and machining issues during production.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering, programming, and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and woodworking practices.
• Experience with S2M Center and CNC machining preferred.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC routers.
• Familiarity with custom residential or commercial cabinetry.
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows and lean production principles.
• Experience with ERP or production management systems.
