As a Security Officer, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols at a logistics location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
