Technical Support Scientist

Technical Support Scientist – Toxicology Business Unit Location: Pomona, California, United States. Work Shift: Standard. Travel: No. Medical Surveillance: Not Applicable. Responsibilities Participate in moderate complexity projects, product improvements, change control processes, investigations, and resolve technical issues. Conduct verification or validation studies for new or modified materials and generate reports. Investigate moderate to long‑duration projects and assist in developing new methods and processes. Perform customer complaint investigations and write reports. Analyze data and prepare technical reports such as deviation reports, validation protocols, and trend analyses. Maintain laboratory records and documentation in a professional and accurate manner. Review, edit, and process changes to controlled documentation using an electronic documents management system. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and represent Technical Support on project teams. Direct less experienced staff and assist in problem solving. Work independently as well as cooperatively with others. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Arts or Science in Chemistry or Biological Sciences. Minimum three years of related experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good technical writing skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use other manufacturing systems. Knowledge of laboratory equipment and operations. Ability to work safely and maintain accurate records. Preferred Qualifications Experience with MS Office and manufacturing systems. Adaptable and willing to take on multiple tasks. Independent, collaborative self‑starter with ability to make quality‑related decisions. Logical, analytical, meticulous, highly organized with strong data analysis skills. Experience directing junior research staff. Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $81,500.00 – $141,300.00.
