Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 35 patients. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5. Every other weekend required. Holiday coverage expected per assignment length. No call required. Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed (blackout dates apply during Spring Break, April 4th-12th).

Highlights:

• Comprehensive telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), and vascular conditions
• Epic charting system (required experience), along with Pyxis and SBAR documentation
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin (no titration required)
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 4:1 to 5:1 patient ratios
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care, IV insulin protocols, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Proficiency managing cardiac drips (without titration) including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance documentation due Tuesday prior to start date; late compliance results in 2-week delay
