We are looking for a Property Administrator to support residential community operations in California on a contract basis. This position combines resident support, leasing coordination, compliance oversight, and day-to-day property administration to help maintain a well-run and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to balance operational priorities while delivering excellent service to residents and community partners.
Property Administrator Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily site operations by addressing resident needs, supporting lease administration, and resolving concerns in a thorough and timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations personnel to help ensure the property remains safe, functional, and aligned with applicable housing standards.
• Manage leasing activities from outreach and applicant screening through move-in coordination and resident onboarding.
• Monitor rent collection processes, track outstanding balances, and follow up on delinquent accounts in accordance with established procedures.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and local partners while serving as a visible representative at community meetings and outreach events.
• Enforce property policies and support regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate records and promoting a secure, accessible living environment.
• Supervise onsite team members by assisting with hiring, training, scheduling, performance oversight, and corrective action as needed.
• Contribute to sustainability efforts by supporting environmentally responsible property practices and resident awareness initiatives.

• Previous experience in residential property administration, leasing, or community-based property management.• Working knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulations, including HUD and LIHTC guidelines.
• Strong understanding of landlord-tenant requirements, property compliance expectations, and site safety practices.
• Proficiency with property management platforms such as Yardi and the ability to maintain organized records.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work constructively with residents, staff, and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Prior experience leading or supervising onsite staff is strongly preferred.
