We recognize that the expertise of our staff is our strongest asset, so we generously reward employees for successful performance and invest in their careers through training and the development of new skills and certifications.OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Information Scientist to provide scientific research support, information management, executive administrative assistance, and business development support.This role serves as a key resource for our team by conducting literature research, managing reference databases, tracking emerging opportunities, and supporting day-to-day administrative operations.The ideal candidate possesses strong research skills, exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.ResponsibilitiesScientific Research & Information ManagementConduct comprehensive literature searches on scientific, environmental, and chemical topics using a variety of databases and research resources.Maintain and update the firm's EndNote reference database and library.Enter, verify, and organize references, publications, and supporting documentation within EndNoteTrack new publications and regulatory updates relevant to ongoing projects.Project SupportProvide research and administrative support to the team and senior staffAssist with document management, project tracking, and information organization.Support special projects by gathering and compiling information from various internal and external sources.Ensure project records and supporting documentation are accurate, organized, and easily accessible.Executive & Administrative SupportProvide administrative support to senior leadership and management.Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flight, hotel, and transportationPrepare and process expense reportsSchedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and assist with event planning.Assist with general office and administrative operations as needed.Business Development & Competitive IntelligenceMonitor external resources, including Bloomberg, Law360, industry publications, and public records, for emerging cases, litigation trends, and business opportunities.Research prospective clients, law firms, and attorneys.Track and maintain business development opportunities and relevant market intelligence.Support marketing and business development initiatives through targeted research and data collection.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.2+ years of administrative, office management, project coordination, or similar professional experience.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional email and telephone communication.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and requests from multiple staff members simultaneously.High attention to detail, particularly when reviewing documents, entering information, managing files, and coordinating schedules.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and identify what needs to be completed without constant direction.Strong document-management skills, including organizing electronic and physical project files and maintaining consistent naming/filing conventions.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.Comfortable learning new software, internal systems, and administrative processes.Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a collaborative office environment.Benefits : TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance.401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match.Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year).All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.Salary Range USD $24.00 - USD $26.75 /Hr.
