RADIUS RULE: TRAVELER MUST BE OUTSIDE 50 MILES FROM FACILITY.
Observation Unit /Inpatient -
13 Weeks
Start 6/1
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hrs
Shift Requirements: 12 hrs Variables 0700-1930- 1900-0730
Float to all inpatient units as needed
On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS. ACLS required- ARC or AHA. Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance
Minimum Experience: 3 years. 1 travel assignment REQUIRED
Charting Experience: EPIC REQUIRED.
Unit Information: 8 bed unit- 2 RNs on each shift 1:4 patient ratio Background in observation units, or step-down MS/Tele units. Ability to read and interpret strips is required. Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance
Observation unit. Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, CHF, Dehydration, pre -op, Urology and GI, Drips (Drips include, but not limited to: Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro ,Insulin, Heparin) Average stay up to 48 hrs. High amount of admissions and discharges
Desired skillset: Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible. Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shift.
