Our Chapman Chevrolet dealership in Tempe is currently seeking experienced service technicians to join our service department. Our technicians play a critical role in the customer's vehicle ownership experience by delivering reliable, high-quality maintenance services and repairs. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with service advisors and the parts department.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Execute work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Communicate additional service or repair needs to the service advisor, including estimated completion times
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and parts used
• Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive service technician experience required
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• General computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate service records
• Must have your own tools
• Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass background check and drug screening
