You will:Manage day-to-day interactions with client stakeholders and sponsors, acting as the primary technical point of contact for your workstreamLead end-to-end IT transformation projects for major consulting clients, focusing on innovation, technology resiliency and operational excellenceCollaborate with cross-functional engineering and development teams to design, onboard, and optimize DevOps toolchains (e.g. GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube), while driving measurable improvements in the technology stackManage project execution with an IT lens, developing project plans, driving the delivery of key technology initiatives within scopeAct a technology liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise change management controls and business prioritiesDesign and build Generative AI and agentic solutions using ClaudeLead small teams through business requirements gathering, functional design, process mapping, and support-model definition, providing technical direction throughoutDevelop and maintain project scope, schedule, and resource plans for your workstream, and adjust them as engagement needs evolveManage changes to scope, schedule, and cost in line with the engagement's change management processIdentify risks, assumptions, and constraints early, and implement approved mitigations to protect deliveryMaintain clear, consistent communication with client stakeholders and internal engagement leadershipYou'll be deployed onto client engagements that typically involve one or more of the following:Designing and building agentic AI solutions powered by Claude, from proof-of-concept through production deploymentImplementing multi-agent systems that automate business processes, integrate with enterprise tools, and operate within defined autonomy and guardrailsModernizing existing systems to incorporate Generative AI capabilities, including retrieval-augmented generation and agent-based orchestrationAdvising clients on Generative AI adoption strategy, responsible AI practices, and model/platform selectionPartnering directly with client technology, data, and business stakeholders to scope and deliver AI solutionsA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe teamEngineering as a Service provides complete design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, technology, computer science, or related field.4+ years’ experience in a consulting firm, working on large scale IT transformation projects in the commercial sector in the strategy, growth and IT transformation space.6+ years’ experience in IT project management, engineering transformation, and business analysis including tech modernization experience.At least 1 year of hands-on experience developing AI solution using Anthropic Claude models 1+ years of experience leading project workstreams or engagements, translating business problems into AI solutions and delivering measurable outcomes2+ years of experience managing small onshore and offshore IT teams1+ years of experience helping clients transform the SCLC to AI SDLC using Claude Code and Cowork to support enterprise workflows, automation, research, or other knowledge-work use casesAdvanced proficiency with project management tools (Confluence, JIRA) and reporting in a consulting and/or technology environment.Experience evaluating the engineering toolchain and technical solutions approaches across programs with specific experience working on application development modernization projects on a large scale with a strategic as well as technical focus.Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Preferred:Experience with large-scale technology modernization, cloud transformation, and continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline improvement.Experience using transformation execution centers (TXC) and similar program execution platforms.Claude certification(s)Experience creating client workshop collateral and leading interactive work sessionsExperience presenting technical content to both large and small audience with the ability to explain technical terminology and stack details to the audienceMaster’s degree.The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $122,000 to $240,500.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
