Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), ensuring the incorporation of the latest research and methodologies.

• Educate and support clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, fostering a collaborative therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Saint Mary's Counseling Center, you will engage with a diverse range of clients facing mood disorders including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related conditions. The most vulnerable groups we support include those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your role will involve not just individual therapy, but also group facilitation and community outreach, aiming to empower these individuals and promote recovery.
