As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 06:45 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 06:45 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with access control or crowd management as directed. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patients and staff. Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
