As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:45 PM - 11:15 PMSun03:45 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly movement throughout the location. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
