Our organization in Reno, NV is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Anesthesiologist who is either Board Certified or Board Eligible. Become a vital member of our surgical team, delivering outstanding care across a variety of surgical procedures, including general, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, as well as orthopedic, GU, ENT, ophthalmology, and podiatric operations. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within our cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-operative assessments of patients and prepare them for anesthesia.

• Administer both general and regional anesthesia, along with monitored anesthesia care.

• Maintain patient homeostasis during perioperative and critical care phases.

• Diagnose and manage pain syndromes.

• Oversee and instruct on cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation techniques.

• Assess respiratory functions and apply respiratory therapies.

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate medical and paramedical staff.

• Engage in innovative research to improve evidence-based practices.

• Deliver direct patient care in various settings, including the OR, PACU, ICU, wards, and out-of-OR procedures.

• Contribute to administrative tasks and quality improvement initiatives.
