**Exciting Opportunity for Operating Room Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - Operating Room - **Experience Required:** 1 year - **Shifts:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) - **Patient Ratios:** Days: 1:1 - **Call Required:** Yes (2 days a week, including holidays and weekends) - **Weekend Shifts:** 3 weekend on-call 24-hour shifts per month - **Pre-Approved Time Off:** 1 request - **Orientation Hours:** 24 **Preferred Certifications:** - ACLS - BLS - PALS **Skills Preferred:** - Experience in Ambulatory OR, General OR, Pedi General OR - Proficiency in General Surgery procedures: - Appendectomy - Cholecystectomy - Colon resection - Inguinal/Umbilical hernia repair - Experience with Pediatric General Surgery: - Appendectomy - Inguinal hernia repair **Professional Knowledge and Skills:** - Cardiac Monitoring - Emergency Management - Code Response - Fire Safety - Endoscopic Procedures: - Colonoscopy - EGD **Equipment and Instrumentation:** - Proficient in using Electrosurgical units - Pediatric Ear/Nose/Throat procedures: - Myringotomy with tubes - Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy - Orthopedic procedures: - Total joint replacement - Thoracic: - VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery) **Additional Skills:** - PACU/Recovery experience **Unit Details:** - **Number of Rooms:** 3 - **Interdisciplinary Support:** - Respiratory Services - Pharmacy - Unit Secretary **Patient Age Groups:** - Adolescents - Adults - Pediatrics - Geriatrics **Patient Diagnoses:** - Must be able to circulate and recover in a rural hospital setting - Endoscopy experience required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
