Quality control inspector

Quality Control Inspector (Valve Industry) Specialty Valves is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a high-priority, 2-month contract assignment in Texas, offering a competitive pay rate of $24.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience. Operating on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with availability for required overtime), the ideal candidate will possess a technical background in the valve manufacturing industry, with specific, critical expertise in plug valves and ball valves. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous visual, dimensional, and receiving inspections, verifying final assemblies and test reports, and maintaining strict equipment calibration logs. While experience witnessing non-destructive testing (NDT, MTR, LPI, X-ray) and hands-on familiarity with a CMM or Manual Lathe are considered major bonuses, a deep understanding of severe-service valve tolerances and the ability to confidently manage non-conformity documentation (NCRs) are essential for immediate success in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.
