Work Environment

This position is located onsite within our state-of-the-art outpatient office in Panama City. Here, you will collaborate with a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including occupational therapists, physical therapy assistants, and rehabilitation specialists, in a facility designed for optimal patient comfort and therapeutic outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations including patient history assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evaluation findings, ensuring patient engagement in their therapeutic journey.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment routines, improvement goals, and necessary interventions to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Employ various therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, therapeutic exercises, and gait training to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to meet changing patient needs.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to ensure coordinated care and continuity for patients.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida state physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensing prior to starting the position.

Preferred Experience
