Job Title: Adobe AEP Data Engineer Location: Atlanta, GA 3 Days Onsite Duration: Long-Term Contract Job Description We are seeking an experienced Adobe AEP Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support customer data ingestion, transformation, and availability across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) , including batch and real‑time data ingestion, XDM schema design, identity management, datasets, APIs, and data governance. This role will work closely with architects, analysts, and marketing teams to ensure customer data is accurately ingested, standardized, and activated for downstream use cases. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for Adobe Experience Platform. Implement batch and real‑time data ingestion using APIs, SDKs, and source connectors. Create and manage XDM schemas, datasets, and data models to ensure consistency and interoperability. Map source system data into standardized Adobe Experience Platform data models. Support identity stitching and unified customer profile creation. Monitor data quality, troubleshoot ingestion issues, and optimize pipelines for performance and reliability. Collaborate with architects, analysts, marketing teams, and business stakeholders. Ensure proper data governance, validation, and compliance standards across AEP implementations. Required Skills Hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) . Strong experience with XDM schema design , datasets, identity management, and data governance. Experience with batch and real‑time data ingestion using APIs, SDKs, and source connectors. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala . Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and enterprise data pipeline development. Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP / BigQuery . Strong understanding of customer data platforms, data quality, and profile unification. Experience working with retail, marketing, or customer analytics data is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in retail or consumer data environments. Experience working with marketing, analytics, and customer data activation teams.
